Meeting grounds

After the dismal showing of cars yesterday something has to be done. Since fridays people wan't to go to the track and stuff sould we make wensdays our offcial meet days seeing as more people show up

I agree, friday is track day, thats jsut the way it is, then after the track a bite to eat and a cruize are generally in order.

I think wensday we should have our meets (since we do at peppers already).

this idea sounds ok.. just finding place to park for all the cars together might be an isue ..

Personally the thing about a meet is the whole idea of everyone out by their cars talking not everyone inside eating wings. Meets are supposed to be like a mini car show in my opinion. So thet if people come looking at the cars you can talk to them.

ok well what about saturday afternoonish at Hawrelak Park, in one of the first parking areas when you drive in, they are normally empty with exception special events there.
And that way there is lots of people around too, might gain more interests.


and peppers could still work, we all get together and talk about cars, we jstu dont stand by them, and the back part of the parking lots is always empty, some of you lazy folk will jsut have to walk a few extra steps.

I like the hawrelak park idea. That way its out in the open. Visible. And we can all get together and make a day out of it at and bbq or something in the field. That way everyone can talk, look at cars, eat and do anything else all in the same area.

ya that sounds good as long as people actually show up

I think track day should be only when I can make it! I never can make it to those damn things.

how many times do you guys need to go to the track, i see very few of u running consistant enough were minor tuning makes a difference and there be a need to go to the track every week to see that gain in tenth of a sec or .2 mph. theres nothing wrong with fridays not many people work on sat (there are a few who do) but like with mark and myself sometimes we dont leave the pool until 10pm and some guys dont wanna stay out that late. so lets stick with fridays they have worked so far. as for something like hawrlak park that could be an awesome occasional sat meet

what are u talking about ive raced my car out there and out of anyones car mine would be fairly consistant cause it doesnt matter if it runs all day or if its warm cuz the computer adapts to conditions. and im saying if your serious about racing u wouldnt just attend friday night street legals

Conditions will change everytime you go out. Plus there are always little things that you can do to go a little faster. Heck take out your cougar and try icing the intake, lowering tire pressures. And people can say the same thing about doing anything every friday.

Its something to do, and its fun, I enjoy going to and running at the track.
and as mark said you could say the same thing about "wings wensday" too.

why do you say that your car would be the most consistant??
jsut cause its computer controled doesnt mean it isnt effected by the changes in the air density/humidity.


I think track friday is well thats jsut the way it is with lots of us, so might as well use the fact that everyone is already there.

and Hawrelak Park would be a good meet even every other saturday even, and we cant conform to EVERYONES schedule or we would never have any meets, I think the majority of us would be able to make a saturday afternoon.

this is getting confusing..
when the fuck do we want to meet..?
maybe we should just scrap it. i mean .. jeff and trevor are the only ones with cars ..

jeff.. trevor.. when would you guy slike to meet?

I don't know my work scedule is not set in stone I won't know if I can make it to any meets until that day before probably

Well by the looks of it none of our schedules coincide so instead of having a regular day of the week in which we meet why dont we just go with the flow and make meets and stuff one day at a time. Just post an idea when you want to meet and people will respond back to see if they can make it or not to this particular meet. If that makes sense to anyone. :confused:

sounds good as far as I know I am going to cold lake on thursday so but after that it doesn't matter
