87 150 5.0 w/headers ??

Thats right my pickup had cracked and leaking exhaust manifold and instead of trying to resuce a set from the junk yard, I Rob pick me up a set of flowtech shortys for ~$240(thank you), not exhaust work required (and as i found out when looking can't really get long tubes if you have a standard tranny on those trucks anyway) Had them sent ack on the plane with my daughter ans baggage so no shipping charges yay. After about 7 hrs i finally got both of them in, wasted about an hour getting one bolt/stud out on the back of Cyl #4. had to make a "special" thin 9/16 wrench to get behind the bracket to hold the bolt so i could get the nut off. I will send pictures another day. its funny to have a vehicle that is quieter after headers are installed, casue there are no exhaust leaks lol
