distributer saga goes on.......

so we all know i have a new duraspark distributer .. and it pulled hard after about 2000 rpm..

so i pulled it out to get it curved friday .. and the thing is messed..

we put it on the syncrograph .. and set it up .. the pick up on a *brand new* part is messed.. its givving and pulling timming all through the rpm band.

so i took it back to napa today and had a hard tim getting my money back...
so now im hoocked for the week end... no raceing for me :(

should be able to get a new one for tuesday ...
might not get to run again this season... pretty shitty .. but i guess thats the way the ball bounces...

on a side not chris hooked me up with some killer rims and we mounted my slicks ( for the 82).. they seem to hook ok.. but you need to get em hot .. so like 60 second burn out is needed...

that really sucks man and ya those wheels with the slicks looked pretty cool

they work good when there hot, but the guys at bud dont like long burnouts, i got in shit. as for the distibutor problem dont worry rob, i cant run my car either, i have no 3rd gear now

Sucks about the distributor but hope you have better luck next time. You seem to have the worst luck with vechicles. :no:

I say crash the imports, its an open event, so they cant stop us from racing... but we have to go to the closer as well.
