I've got an old sony laptop... probably a little too old for your liking.

600 mhz Intel Processor, Pentium something
64megs of ram
6gig hard drive
not really sure of the other stats, haven't used the thing in about 2 or yr 3 years. let me know though. Open to offers

I cant remember the name of the store but in the sun every day, or close to, there is a full page add with older laptops that I think are still new even for really good deals, I remember a 1.2ghz decent one going for like 600 bucks. I'll look in the paper later and see if I can find it for ya.

a 600 mhz processor will run what you want, but I dont know how fast it will be. I would be more worried about the 6 gig hard drive, as thats not very much for todays standards. And without a dvd player to watch movies on.

If you can live with a desktop you can get a much faster machine then a laptop for less money.

You might want to look in bargin finder too, I've never looked for used laptops so I'm sorry I'm not much help. Just make sure its never been dropped.

Well that's what she wants for it, and it's not mine so I'm just passing on the info.
Anyhow, it's a good machine and she would probably take a lower offer if it was reasonable.
